Students admitted to a French institution of higher education must pay a tax called CVEC (Student and Campus Life Contribution). The CVEC helps to fund programs that enhance the student experience. French law states that students must pay this tax at the beginning of each academic year.

The cost of the CVEC for the 2020--2021 academic year is €92.
